Questions from Course Students:
When looking at the 'Targeting' tab of the Campaign Manager dashboard i.e. showing all the KWs for all my campaigns for 1 product, if I filter to today's date, it shows 1 or no impressions for some KWs. When I type in the KWs into the Amazon search bar I find nearly all the sponsored ads on page 1. Why then does it show zero impressions? Is there a time lag for report data?
If the Search term was never equal to the KW being targeted on a given day for example, would the impressions for that KW be zero or would it count the impressions for any ST's that leveraged that KW in a Broad campaign for example?
My Answer: Hard to say. I can only assume that you haven't accounted for the time lag between where you live and the different time zones in the States. So, right now for instance, it is nearly midday on the 23rd where I am but no metrics will show for this day because it is still the 22nd for many people in the USA.
The impressions that you see in the campaign manager are for the Keywords unless you are specifically looking at the Search Term tab or at Search Term reports.
